New Co-Hosts for TWS Readings Series

We are happy to announce two new hosts for the TWS Readings Series: Fiona Scott and Marni Wedin.  Also, we would like to thank Eufemia Fantetti for all her hard work over the years as the organizer of the Reading Series.

Fiona Scott (TWS 2007) stepped into the writing world as she made tracks, around the world. The travelling tales established the ‘Babe With A Backpack’ brand that now inspire independent travellers across the web. Her blog, her travel articles and her stories from unknown corners of the globe are still being comprised into book form. Being an allumni of the Writers Studio, Fiona continues to find the creative community an inspiration to write more, travel more and share everything in between.

Marni Wedin (TWS 2007) tells stories for a living. Whether it’s over the airwaves in Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver as TELUS TV’s Western Canada content producer or in print profiling artists for ModernDog Magazine, Marni thrives on portraying the best in those she meets. As for her current, not-for-profit, creative obsession, she’s been stalking  the slam poetry scene and is working up the nerve to perform her poetry for points.
