Share space with the Tyee

The Tyee has just moved into a great space in a building that is evolving towards being a cool, green, creative centre. We have an area inside our office that we are renting to a few writers.

Here are the specifics:

Location: Chinatown, corner of East Georgia and Main. Fantastic street
scene and feel, lots of great inexpensive lunches to be had!

$250/month gets you:

A desk, chair, and bookshelf (open space, but with dividers for some privacy)

- Shared use of the meeting room (for the person using the
desk if more privacy needed on calls, but also for larger meetings)

- Shared use of the kitchenette & water cooler

- Internet access (LAN and wireless)

- Keys & one access card for after-hours (others are
available at a flat cost)

The space is alarmed, and we will be working on securing some bike storage.

There are ports for phone lines, but if you want a landline you’d have
to bring in your own.

Might be open so some writing for rent trade.

You’d be welcomed into the Tyee’s creative journalistic community –
fun people to either help you get inspired or…procrastinate!

Cheers,

Dave
