Vaughan Chapman (TWS 2006): Second place in Geist’s Fortune Cookie Contest

Vaughan Chapman (TWS 2006) was one of two second place prize winners in the Geist Fortune Cookie Contest. Her piece “1963″ was written as “The White House” for Rachel Rose’s “From Private Legend to Public Poem” course offered this past spring and owes a huge debt as well to Jami Macarty and her 2007 course on the prose poem. Vaughan also has a haiku forthcoming in Magnapoets #5 (2010).
