TWS Reading Series Co-Hosts Bios
Fiona Scott (TWS 2007) is a travel writer with stories to be told. Her ‘Babe With A Backpack’ blog has shaken the world of wanderlust and triggered freelance work in TimeOut, Outpost and Emerge. She also adapted her written words for the camera as a Canadian semi-finalist in The Best Travel Job Ever.
Marni Wedin (TWS 2007) tells stories for a living. Whether it’s over the airwaves in Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver as TELUS TV’s Western Canada content producer or in print profiling artists for ModernDog Magazine, Marni thrives on portraying the best in those she meets. As for her current, creative obsession, she’s been stalking the slam poetry scene and is working up the nerve to perform her poetry for points.
